The site testifies to human presence already in the Neolithic. The Favres succeed them, transforming the house, the park and in particular built the monumental entrance on the Quai Gustave-Ador side with its lions, the pergola, the orangery and in 1821 the superb library. One of these sources was located in the center of the park, where a waterfall flows in the middle of the rockery and its alpine plants.The park offers a variety of magnificent trees: firs, pines and other impressive redwoods alone are worth the trip.
