TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Fares and Special Rates
1.1 The child fare applies to children aged 4 to 12 years inclusive.
1.2 Children under 3 years of age travel free of charge. Booster seats and child safety seats are not provided; passengers travelling with young children are responsible for compliance with any applicable child-restraint requirements.
1.3 Nursery and daycare outings, and groups composed predominantly of infants, are classified as school excursions and are subject to the applicable group rate.
- Conditions of Carriage
2.1 Where the Open Top bus or tourist train has reached capacity, passengers will be accommodated on the next available departure. Swisstours Sightseeing cannot guarantee boarding at any specific departure time.
2.2 The LX package comprises lines L1, L2 and L3. The ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of first use. In the event that any of these lines is closed or otherwise unavailable, no refund, whether full or partial, shall be granted.
2.3 Lines, routes and timetables are subject to modification at any time on account of demonstrations, special events, roadworks, traffic conditions or adverse weather.
- Conduct on Board
3.1 Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited on board all vehicles.
3.2 For reasons of safety and passenger comfort, animals are not permitted on board, including animals transported in carriers.
- Payment
4.1 Swisstours Sightseeing does not charge additional processing fees for credit card payments. Any third-party bank or card-issuer fees remain the responsibility of the Client.
4.2 All prices are charged in Swiss Francs (CHF). Currency conversions shown elsewhere are indicative only.
- Limitation of Liability
5.1 Swisstours Sightseeing accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from delays, the cancellation or curtailment of a service, or any missed connection with any other mode of transport.
5.2 Swisstours Sightseeing accepts no liability for the theft, loss or damage of personal belongings carried on board. Each passenger remains solely responsible for their own property.
- Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are subject to the following charges, calculated as a percentage of the total booking price:
– More than 6 days before departure: 10% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
– 3 to 5 days before departure: 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
– Less than 2 days before departure: 100% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
